Jessie Ann Couch, 94, of Seal Avenue, Piketon, Ohio, died 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018, at her home.
Jessie was born July 7, 1924, in Maher, West Virginia, daughter of the late Elijah H. Burgett and Lucy Parsley.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Knight of Piketon, Ohio, and Dane Knight and wife Connie of Woodstock, Georgia, two daughters, Sandra Knight of Fox Lake, Illinois, and Penny Daniel and husband Walter of Canal Winchester, Ohio, step-son, Harry Knight of West Minister, Colorado, step-daughter, Janet Butler of Napa, California, nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Harry H. Knight and John Clifford Couch, son, Paul Knight, grandson and his wife, Donny Knight II and Carey Knight, brother, Donald Burgett, sister, Mary Saia, and daughter-in-law, Donna Mae (Barker) Knight.
Jessie was a homemaker and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Piketon, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2018, at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly, with Pastor Jon Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Boyer Funeral Home from 4 – 8 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2018, and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
