William “Robbie” Roberts was reelected as mayor of Beaver on Tuesday.

He defeated opponent Alan “Wynn” Sigmon, 66 votes to 33 votes.

After the results were announced, Roberts expressed his appreciation that the voters decided to put faith in him for another four years.

Among Roberts’ goals for the future are the revitalization of Main Street, fixing the water tower, and he said he would like to see the old school and some property around it become a community center.

Beaver voters also voted for two seats on village council on Tuesday, electing Tommy Wallace, with 70 votes, and Jason M. Traylor, with 68 votes. Candidate Danny R. Sturgill received 29 votes.

All election results are unofficial at this time.
