Atomic Credit Union would like to wish a very bittersweet “Happy Retirement” to Jennifer Eitel, VP of Funds Management! Jennifer’s last day with Atomic was Tuesday, April 30.
Jennifer has been with the credit union for 22 years. She started as a part-time teller in the Waverly Branch. Having 16 1/2 years of prior banking experience at First National Bank, Jennifer has been a Manager/Director of share draft and ACH processing, ODP, IRAs and HSAs and is currently the VP of Funds Management Services.
She has spent most of her life in Pike County. Graduating from Piketon High School in 1971, she majored in Business-Office Education. After graduation, she accepted a position at the Pike County Human Resources as a Clerk Stenographer II with the State of Ohio and a year later relocated to Lancaster. There, she was a secretary for Anchor Hocking Glass. After a short stint there, she came back home to Pike County to begin her banking career.
Jennifer has implemented the following products for the Credit Union: The initial “Visa” credit card conversion, ATM/Debit Cards, Courtesy Pay — Overdraft Protection, and Health Savings Accounts. She formed the ACH Department, implemented ACH Origination and such products as payroll processing, funds transfer, recurring monthly loan payments and transfers, TEL transactions, and Same Day ACH transactions. She was also responsible for establishing a relationship with CUNA Mutual Group, that later became Ascensus, the administrator of the Credit Union’s IRA and HSA portfolio. Jennifer is an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) with the National Automated Clearing House Association, (NACHA), and a Certified IRA Specialist (CIS) with a certified designation of Leadership with Ascensus.
Jennifer and her husband, Danny, reside in Waverly. Danny is currently a Minister since retiring after serving as a Human Resources Administrator for three federal agencies, the Veterans Administration, the Department of the Air Force and the Department of Defense. They have two children, Tadd and Jessica, and two grandchildren, Mack and Maura, who reside in Columbus.
