The Naz Vinyard and Winery in Ross County will be holding a music festival this Saturday, July 6.
According to Jake Pool, who works in groundskeeping and winery operations, the event is called “Naz Fest” and will be family-oriented. It will feature live music from six bands, yard games, inflatables for kids, a hoola hoop workshop, face painting, a Woodfired Pizza Truck, and Big Carl’s BBQ.
The Naz Vinyard and Winery is family owned and operated. It was established in 2015 and opened in November of 2017. It encompasses 10 acres of vineyard and offers several different varieties of red and white wines. According to Pool, the winery is currently constructing a new commercial kitchen and event center as well. They also host weddings, private parties, showers, and weekly live entertainment.
The Naz Winery and Vineyard is located at 13414 Marietta Road, in Kingston. The event begins at noon and runs until 10 p.m. No outside alcohol is allowed to be brought onto the premises.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
In 2018, the Winery and Vineyard won a Silver Award for their Estate Traminette and a Gold Award for their Estate Corot Noir. In 2019, they won the Ohio Wine Competition.
