Adena launches new Find-A-Doc service
Posted: November 13, 2014

CHILLICOTHE — Adena Health System has a new service to make it easier for patients to find a Primary Care Provider (PCP). The Find-A-Doc phone service is a first of its kind program for Adena.

“Primary Care is one of the keys to overall good health,” said Dr. John Fortney, Adena’s Chief Medical Officer. “When patients develop a strong partnership with their PCP, they tend to pay attention to their health conditions more, which results in better health and fewer hospitalizations.”

The new service is an easy way for patients who are new to the area, or are in search of a new primary care provider to be matched up with a PCP with the ease of one phone call.
